Sarvestan residential project is designed on the basis of Ghaemshahr city and the identity of Mazandaran province. Due to its nature and conceptual elements, this project can be considered as a new reading of patterns and motifs based on the identity of this province, which uses multi-layered design. Climate, function and identity of Mazandaran and the abstract development of these concepts in various layers of architectural work have tried to create a novel model for creating a contemporary work. Also, cypress as a tree in which various concepts of Iranian patterns are hidden and its characteristics and patterns throughout history have been shown in various forms in the urban identity of Iranian provinces as a key element of this work. And has helped to create a mindset of discovery and exploration in the thinking and vision of the external observer of the building.
